ClientUptrendly

A two-month experiment for Uptrendly, exploring what Nepal's young people wanted from their next leader. A simple platform built to put their ideas and opinions first.

The problem

After Nepal's Gen Z protests, Uptrendly wanted to understand what young people expected from their next leader. The client already had a clear vision: a short, two-month experiment with a simple interface. The website needed to make participation easy and keep the focus on what people had to say.

The strategy

For Uptrendly, simplicity was the brief from the start. I built around two clear paths: sharing an idea and participating as a leader. Familiar navigation, readable opinion cards, and straightforward page layouts helped explain the experiment without adding visual distractions. Full-stack development connected the interface with the platform behind it.

The decisions

Use the purple brand palette sparingly against a white background, with clear headings and space around each action. Keep the two participation choices together on the homepage, and place shared opinions alongside them so visitors can see the conversation before joining. Give the project's purpose its own About page, with Leaders and FAQ easy to find. Keep the interface direct and the scope focused on the client's two-month experiment.
