ClientSide B

A warmer way to discover your next great coffee. A bold storefront bringing coffee, everyday objects, and the ritual of brewing into one world.

The problem

Side B needed a storefront with as much character as its coffee. The challenge was to carry that personality online while making each blend easy to understand and choose.

The strategy

For Side B, the starting point was how people choose their daily coffee. Some know their brew; others need a little guidance. I organised the collection around espresso, filter, and decaf, keeping flavour notes and prices close to each bag. The bold red introduction carries the brand, while the quieter cream collection gives shoppers room to compare.

The decisions

Keep the packaging large enough to recognise, then give every product the same information hierarchy: name, coffee type, tasting notes, and price. The plus button beside the price adds the coffee directly to the cart, so shoppers can choose a bag without opening a separate product page or losing their place in the collection. On the product page, place the bag beside the purchase details so people can check the grind, weight, and quantity together. Put the longer flavour story and brewing ratios further down, where they can help without interrupting the decision to buy. Carry the same red and cream palette into merchandise so it feels like part of the same shop.
